Antarctica is a dynamic and ever-changing environment. As an organisation, we are constantly reassessing our role so that we can safeguard the heritage and wildlife of Antarctica whilst still sharing this incredible landscape with the world.
Antarctica Future
Through our cutting-edge digital technology program, we’ve created a virtual reality experience that means anyone can see the wonders of Antarctica, regardless of their location. And in our latest podcast series, you can hear us chatting to a NASA astrobotanist, about the intriguing possibility of growing vegetables not only in Antarctica but also in outer space. Have a go with the filter to see what this might look like!
We know the future of Antarctica is at risk. As such, we have a responsibility to make sure that this precious place, with its unique heritage, fascinating stories and captivating wildlife, will still be there for generations to come.
